When it comes to easy resort style fashion, Holiday Trading Co have got it down to an art.
Between their five fashion labels – Holiday, Brave & True, Talisman, True North, and The Slip – founder Rayna Hooper has been injecting a touch of summer break to wardrobes since 2010. Buyers are loving dressing like every day is a vacation, with Holiday Trading Co currently reporting an annual $7m turnover in their five years of trading.
While some brands might be fine to remain at this level of local success, Rayna, who has always felt like a citizen of the globe, is determined to take her product to the world. To help achieve this ambitious task, the business has appointed marketing, sales and consulting powerhouse Garland & Garland Fashion to support their NSW sales and advise on their overall growth strategy.
“I started with nothing – just a dream and the courage… Here we are today… 1,000 stockists in Australia and New Zealand and ready to make the next move into some international markets,” Rayna remarks. “In the last 12 months we realised that to take the brand to the next level we needed to partner with experience on the ground.”
No stranger to this task, Garland & Garland Fashion have lifted multiple brands into new highs since their inception in 2002, and revel in the challenge.
