We hear it all the time – all we have to do is believe; believe in our vision, our abilities and in the future for fulfillment and purpose. The 11 Master Secrets has been created for people who wish to have an easy to understand blueprint to achieving aspirations and desires. More than that though The 11 Master Secrets provide a tool for the mind to alter our state of consciousness in moving us mentally into the path we want to experience physically. Since our thoughts create our reality,The 11 Master Secrets advises us to become masters at ‘thought direction’. The alternative is if we don’t take charge and program our own thoughts into our desired direction, life will have a way of programming them for us – and usually without our conscious knowledge. We wake up one morning, somewhat perplexed by our apparent lack of progress and wonder, how did this happen? I had plans damn it!road to success

Believing in our personal mission and vision for a life we wish to create for ourselves can sometimes be tough. Actually, reality check, it’s mostly tough. No one is going to give us our desired future manifested on a silver platter. We must fight for it, strive for it, stretch our mental and physical selves for the attainment of it and know that when we achieve and look back at the road travelled, it will be well worth it. A fear based mind has no room for risk and if we cannot take risks, we cannot grow.

If we cannot grow, we cannot become our best. If we cannot become our best we cannot be happy or fulfilled. That’s why it’s our obligation and moral imperative to follow our dreams with a sense of urgency. It’s why we’re all here – a mountain climbed, a dream realised, a life fully used with no regret and a plethora of discovery moments.

Most of the time we receive support from our friends and family, however there are times when the people who we love and respect don’t always share our passion for our chosen direction. If we can get our head around this concept rather quickly, we can create a mental strategy for dealing with doubtful dogma with poise, respect, reverence and possibly dismissal in pursuit of our personal vision. The truth of the matter is, no one can truly and fully appreciate your uniqueness but you. Family members, friends and colleagues who claim to ‘know you’ will offer direction, thoughts and advice from their vantage point of you, claiming it’s your best interest in the heart of their comments or actions. As often as these comments sometimes carry much weight, and you may even find instances where you listened and acted on their advice with a desired outcome achieved, they will never get it right for you 100% of the time. Nor would you want them to. They are masters at living their own life and although family blood can sometimes create a sense of synergy, no one is born to be the master of you.

Dream realisation is an area exempt from the ‘do it this way’ good or bad advice from friends, family and colleagues. Why? Because it’s a very personal journey, a path designed just for you.

A little while ago I spoke to an accident victim. She was telling me how she swerved to avoid a piece of sheet metal on a highway not far from her home. As she was explaining the story in great detail, a man at the table chimed in with an answer to avoid hitting the sheet metal and was insistent the technique would have worked. So I ask you – how valid was his comment? He wasn’t there, he did not know the drivers driving skill, the speed of the car, proximity to the curb and other cars around her. He possibly did not even know if there had been a baby capsule in the car next to her which would of been hit should the car swerved differently, or did not know her reaction time and sharpness of this particular vehicle’s maneuverability. So how valid was his comment? From his vantage point, he was correct. Perhaps you have an opinion?

The secret to beginning our journey is to have an internal conversation about how we want to get where we want to be and consistently filter the conversation within and the conversation outside to achieving our most desired personal truth. Advice is great, but if it gets in the way of our dreams, be selective about how much you absorb that advice. When walking the tight rope to dream realisation, it always has been and will be your call.

“Cultivate the ability to deal with negative moments and bungee-up to positive actions and thoughts as soon as you feel yourself slipping into negative or doubtful thinking. You must do this with focus and as a conscious decision. Realise the lessons that will be learned from the current situation and take them on board with strategy and humility. If you can pass through these discovery moments, you’ll witness opportunities, the opening of doors and greatness manifest into your reality” – BN
