The former interior designer, frustrated with the lack of beautiful clothing for larger women, decided to design her own wedding dress and never looked back.

Launching her own label in 2010, White Label NOBA has quickly grown from a humble label out of Queensland to a coveted brand nationwide. Tracey’s success is in her unique approach to design, keeping the busy Australian woman at front of mind. The WLN team create effortless fashion for the time-poor woman who wants to look and feel luxurious for all occasions, from a stylish work look to the school drop off and pick up, and onto dinner with the girls.

Tracey Watkins has a real eye for spotting and creating upcoming trends and translating them into timeless, wearable pieces that suit a broad range of body shapes and sizes. “White Label NOBA has always focused on offering petite to plus sized clothing and I love being part of a positive movement towards fashion equality,” said Tracey. “We always make a point of featuring a range of women in our advertising campaigns, from young to mature aged, petite to plus sized to show the true diversity of what we are offering and to argue that there is no one definition of beauty.

White Label NOBA’s style has always been about creating a balance between edgy boho and classic sophistication and their winter 2014 collection is no exception.

The clothing, accessories, shoes, jewellery and home wares in this collection have been separated into two themes: Classic White Label and Take a Walk on the Wild Side.

The ‘Classic WLN’ looks feature a sophisticated colour palette of black, milk, tan and stone and luxurious fabrics including a number of beautiful furs. While the ‘Walk on the Wild Side’ range brings in a number of custom prints for the season, including a geometric diamond, a unique and bold check, a dynamic new zig zag and an organic animal print. It also brings in a vibrant orange to the mix, which will demand attention.

The inspiration behind this collection came from Tracey’s `amazing’ trip to India at the end of last year.

” Having the opportunity to see the exquisite beauty of handmade products inspired me to design our signature boots, accessories, jewellery and home-wears that are handmade by artisans,” she said.

WLN showcased their beautiful collection during Fashion Exposed Sydney, including White Label NOBA classics, fabulous new bold prints, divine furs, gorgeous capes, wonderful knits and a unique selection of amazing handmade trinkets and treasures to name but a few things.
