The Naot Green collection is designed to cater to customers in search of ethical, comfortable footwear and is entirely eco friendly.
A spokesperson for the brand confirmed all Naot Green uppers were made from vegetable dyed leathers, with soles made from sustainably grown natural rubber and innersoles from sustainably grown natural latex and cork. In addition all shoes in the range were stitched by hand, to avoid the use of chemical glues and electricity.
Naot Australia have also entered into a sponsorship arrangement with Rainforest Rescue. For every pair of Naot Green footwear sold in Australia and New Zealand, $5 will be donated to the Daintree Buy Back and Protect forever project, which is the equivalent of saving one square metre of Daintree Rainforest for every pair sold.
Naot will showcase its ranges at the Australian Shoe Fair from 29-31 August at Australian Shoe Fair.
