A mascotte for freedom

10_Mascotte_SS2013Mascotte is an international, rapidly developing brand of men’s and women’s footwear and accessories. For over ten years, Mascotte has been delivering fashionable, top-quality products to the international market.

Today, it has a well-developed retail chain in a variety of countries across the globe, over 140 shops with seasonal collections featuring up to 2000 different items of footwear and accessories.

Mascotte’s success as a brand stems from its constant quest for new ideas and ever more perfect forms and quality materials, and from the creative reimagining and reshaping of those forms and materials into fashionable, elegant footwear and accessories that are a source of pleasure and happiness for their owners.

Mascotte collections are created by a talented team of designers from many different countries, including masters working with the most high-profile fashion houses. They are constantly experimenting with new materials, patterns, cutting styles and fittings. From the very first sketch, the models’ design and colour are carefully developed to optimally emphasise the originality of their styles.

The talent and unique designer instincts of the Mascotte creative team, and above all their endless drive to realise new and interesting ideas, enable the brand to remain perpetually fashionable and up-to-date.

Mascotte fans love the brand for its flawless style and for the enormous range that gives them the freedom to express themselves creatively, adding new elements to create stylish combinations again and again.

21_Mascotte_SS2013As such, within every collection special attention is paid to accessories that perfectly complement the footwear to create a complete look by Mascotte. Refined suede and the softest leather, unique wools and silks, peerless fittings – only the best materials in the most fashionable cuts are used to produce Mascotte bags, belts, headwear, scarves and gloves.

The Mascotte brand belongs to the Austrian company Markenmanagement MS GmbH,which devotes great care to investing in its future by drawing on the experience of the greatest international experts within the fashion industry. Mascotte has spent years working with the WGSN (Worth Global Style Network), the biggest online resource and world leader in fashion trend prediction and analysis.

In 2012, Mascotte released a capsule collection of men’s and women’s footwear together with the major English shoe label Barker, and began working with one of the leading world fashion, design and art schools, London’s Central Saint Martins College. Its graduates include such world-famous designers as Jimmy Choo, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Paul Smith, John Galliano and Zac Posen.

The endless quest for fresh ideas and new talent affirms Mascotte’s reputation as a creative and dynamic brand that doesn’t rest on its laurels, and instead always looks to the future.

In addition to creating stylish and fashionable designs, Mascotte is successfully tackling the sizeable task of organising collection production while minimising the launch period for new models. For an ambitious brand, it’s essential that production only takes place in factories where the highest levels of quality can be guaranteed.

Mascotte has met this challenge with flying colours, developing footwear and accessory production in the leading factories of Italy, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, China and Great Britain. In Italy, Mascotte works with several dozen factories in the Pisa, Lucca, Macerata and Fermo regions.

Today, Mascotte goods are produced there alongside many world-famous brands such as Diesel Black Gold, Just Cavalli, Baldinini, Marc. Bally and Ugg. Its partners include Aeffe S.r.l., Lorbac S.p.a, Fru.it S.r.l. Some of Mascotte’s products are hand-sewn here.
