From The Big Apple to Sydney

Miz_Mooz_1Boasting descriptors such as “edgy, eclectic, fashionable and comfortable”, New York label Miz Mooz will soon be bringing its distinctive offer to Sydney shoe fair buyers.

Conceived in SoHo New York, Miz Mooz’ mission is to consistently create the most unique and innovative styles, with each pair handcrafted using premium quality hand-worked leathers.

A leader in fashion footwear throughout the US and Canada, the brand incorporates both style and comfort in each of its models. As a result it has garnered a strong consumer and media following, with Miz Mooz shoes recently spotted on singer and superstar Taylor Swift and featured in Oprah Winfrey’s ‘O’ magazine.

Miz_Mooz_2Since launching on these shores at the Melbourne Australian Shoe Fair last August, Miz Mooz has entrenched itself firmly in the market, with 40 stores currently poised to receive its autumn winter 2011 range.

Meanwhile feedback from those retailers able to secure the spring summer 2010 range had been overwhelmingly positive, confirmed Simon Cron, director of corporate development at Miz Mooz’ Australian distributor Leisurelink.

“Our sell-through at retail has been extraordinary, with one of our retailers in Byron Bay selling five pairs of one model within a day. The unprecedented quality and astonishing comfort will shock even the most pessimistic of retailers. We are already starting to develop a strong cult following of customers who have seen the brand overseas or already own a pair.”

Miz Mooz’ spring summer 2011 ranges will be on show at the Australian Shoe Fair from 11 – 13 February at Sydney Exhibition Centre.
