Pizzuto designer and director Suzie Rose Vella confirmed Pink Sparrow (pictured left) was launched 12 months ago to offer the industry a price competitive designer label aimed at a younger market than Pizzuto.
“We make part of Pink Sparrow offshore to achieve price point, but the label is Australian designed and quality assured.”
“Pink Sparrow allows Pizzuto to take a higher profile in the market as we can now focus on evening wear and cocktail wear,” she said.
Meanwhile, aimed at fashion conscious women aged 20-45, the Australian made Pizzuto label (pictured right) was ranked alongside the best quality labels but designed to be attainable.
“Pizzuto’s design focus is on cuts that suit curvaceous women; the design concepts always come from great fabric combinations and complimenting feminine flowing silhouettes. Pizzuto’s signature fabric look is watercolour florals and animal print combinations on silk bases.
“At Fashion Exposed we always like to touch base with our existing clients and also get the opportunity to showcase our label to new boutiques.”
Pink Sparrow and Pizzuto will be on show at Fashion Exposed from 6-8 March 2011 at Sydney Exhibition Centre.
