Tarocash divisional manager Malcolm Davidowitz said the brand planned to target regional retailers and new menswear retailers at the trade fair.
“We have decided to showcase Tarocash at Fashion Exposed since the brand has become so strong, and has sparked growing interest from menswear retailers in outlying regional areas, who do not have access to seeing the range at range time, as the showings are typically done from all the major cities. By showing at Fashion Exposed, remote and regional retailers and potential new city retailers will have the opportunity to view and order the range.”
“Many menswear retailers as well as buying groups have directly asked Tarocash to exhibit at Fashion Exposed. We have listened to our potential new customers and made the decision to exhibit.”
Offering a complete range of fashion menswear ranging form shoes to jackets and a good range of accessories, Tarocash was aimed at style conscious men between the ages of 20 and 35.
“The Tarocash guy likes to feel good about what he is wearing without feeling that he sticks out in public. Not only does he feel good about what he is wearing but he does not feel broke after he had bought a Tarocash garment.” Every season the brand sources the latest global trends and tailors them to suit Australian tastes and lifestyles.
Tarocash was founded in 1987 by two brothers and menswear specialists Stephen and Michael Leibowitz. Having immigrated to Australia from South Africa, they founded the brand after identifying a gap in the Australian market for a coordinated range of smart casual men’s clothing.
Tarocash will be showcasing at Fashion Exposed, Sydney Exhibition Centre, from 6-8 March 2011.
