Visitors to the Australian Shoe Fair and co-located Fashion Exposed in Melbourne next week are set to witness an online revolution for retailers, thanks to an alignment between online buying platform Portalogue and Fashion Exposed – Fashion Exposed Portalogue.
Portalogue, an online catalogue style portal for suppliers and retailers, is designed as a unique, user friendly online system that allows small-medium retailers access to buying management systems typically reserved for major retailers.
Through Portalogue’s strategic alignment with Fashion Exposed, trade fair attendees would gain the opportunity to increase their reach beyond the traditional three day trade show by selling online throughout the year, confirmed Portalogue Solutions managing director Tim Pope. Pope described Fashion Exposed Portalogue as “a very exciting partnership that is really going to create great opportunities for fashion industry professionals visiting the fair.”
“At the upcoming fair, we’ll be located at stand 5610 which is part of the Fashion Exposed Club Lounge. We invite fair attendees to come and have a coffee and take the opportunity to see some of the latest features in Portalogue’s offer.”
Portalogue’s web-based platform was designed to enhance buying and selling, with a system allowing clients to compare colours and styles, create purchase orders, track existing orders and program reports. The system also simplified the sales process while providing analysis of previous purchasing patterns, Pope said.
Portalogue Solutions will showcase its offer at Fashion Exposed, co-located with Australian Shoe Fair from 29-31 August at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
