A watertight business plan

CuteBootz_1_w250New footwear player CuteBootz is preparing to make its first splash in the Wellington boot market later this month. The Australian owned company specialises in high quality children’s and ladies wellies in a range of designs and colours.

Director Lainie Brown said the boots – to retail at $34.95 for children’s models and $59.95 for adults’ models – offered broad appeal at reasonable prices.

“The wellies are available in a range of sizes to cater for children as young as two, and there are designs to suit girls and boys as well as a number of unisex designs. The designs have a modern, funky edge that appeal to the wider community. Limited styles and designs are also available in women’s sizes.”

Cutebootz_2_w250Established last year, the company would capitalise on exposure at the Australian Shoe Fair to gauge the market, she said.

“This is the first time I’ll be exhibiting at the fair and it’s a great opportunity to test market my product and pursue business leads.”

The company’s intended strategy was to release an expanded range of boots featuring a wider variety of designs, including adult styles, in forthcoming seasons, she said.

The Australian Shoe Fair will take place at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from August 30 to September 1.
