New services a leg up for businesses

fe_w250Consulting firm Australian Fashion Partners (AFP) has launched a business services division offering to take the legwork out of running a footwear business.

The Sydney based company, which specialises in marketing and business strategy consulting services for the fashion and footwear industries, confirmed it had entered the business services sector in response to overwhelming demand.

AFP managing director Dominic Beirne said the new division would offer a range of services including: bookkeeping and BAS preparation, debt collection, copywriting, general administration, business development for manufacturing firms; AusIndustry TCF Small Business Program Grant submission development; Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) claims and service requirements tender preparation.

“Our market analysis suggests that many clothing, footwear and creative industries business owners are spending too much time on paperwork and routine administrative tasks,” said Beirne.

“In this economic climate, our clients are best served to concentrate their resources on things that will grow their business – product or service innovation and strategic decision making.”

AFP’s industry expertise would also give footwear and fashion businesses peace of mind.

“AFP are the industry specialists and we know what makes fashion and creative businesses tick. Taking over some of these time consuming tasks is therefore a natural extension of our service offering. It provides clients with excellent value for money because we already know your suppliers and customer base.”
